Just One Thought About Ye Shutdowne

If the USA were* a Parliamentary system, like Britain, Canada, Australia, et al, the Prime Minister would call a General Election right now, which would be held in THREE fucking WEEKS!   The Party which is in the right/most popular, would win a large majority, and would get to sort out the current mess, leaving the remaining MPs of the losing Party to re-think its policies on the Opposition benches.

Doesn't sound so bad, does it?
